PDC’s Guest Artist of the Week: Philip Channels

I really enjoyed the PDC workshop with Philip, it was inspiring and amazing and we did normal, ballet and disco warm up to start with, it was funny and the music was nice.

We worked in pairs and were asked to travel across the space with your own journey that we chose, then we had to travel with different part of bodies like circles in different levels like stickiness, slow motion, being relaxed and then we repeated our own journey to other side.

We came up some moves like stickiness, ballet and being free on your own way then Philip shouted random numbers with those moves, then repeated 3 times every time in different order of the random numbers.

I loved that we made a new choreography each time with all the moves together.

Towards the end, we were in partners standing by the wall separately. One pair at a time, we had walk through the space and present our moves that we did 3 times and that was the whole show that we made together in just a couple of hours.

I really enjoyed the whole thing, I thought Philip was amazing! I really enjoyed that experience it was a new thing to me.

I am very much looking forward to having a series of guest facilitators in PDC, we’re learning so much with them!
