Bridget trained in theatre design at Central St. Martins and worked as a freelance designer before becoming Corali’s Education Officer. In this role for 6 years, she was fundamental to establishing the current engagement programme. She is a core member of education team and works as a studio manager for a visual artist.
Jacobus studied Drama at Hull University, has a Masters in Performing Arts from Middlesex University, and spent two years researching choreography at The Amsterdam School for New Dance Development (SNDO). Jacobus has worked with Corali since 2003 as a dramaturg and choreographer, and has been a core member of the devising team for all Company performances since then. He is also a writer and dramaturg for a Danish-based performance group.
Vicky joined in 2007. She has performed in Fourtet (Sadler’s Wells, 2007), Sum of Parts (Sadler’s Wells, 2011) and Home Turf (2017). She also took part in upstart 2009 & 2010.
Carly Butler – Dancer/Facilitator
Carly is a dance artist and certified yoga teacher. She has a BA in Dance Studies from Roehampton University and is completing a Diploma in Dance Teaching and Learning at Trinity Laban. Carly works in education and community groups with a range of ages and with a variety of different abilities. She has established her own youth outreach programme abroad, and continues to work internationally. Carly joined Corali in 2012.
Katy Cracknell – Support Artist
Katy studied with Chicken Shed inclusive theatre and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She has also completed Corali’s formal Support Artists training, working in this role on Demonstrate and at Greenside School. She is a dancer with the main company.
Housni (DJ) Hassan – Support Artist
DJ studied dance at Lambeth College and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. He has also completed Corali’s formal Support Artist training, and worked with Bridget Chew for over 8 years developing our unique Special School offer. DJ is a support artist at Greenside School, on Demonstrate and is a dancer with the main company.
Nicole Jackson – Support Artist
Nicole has completed Corali’s formal Support Artists training, and has worked in this role on Demonstrate, at Morley College and for Wandsworth Disability Dance. She also performs with the main company and is a member of SLIDE.
Bethan Kendrick – Support Artist (volunteer)
Bethan has completed Corali’s Support Artist training. In 2017 she developed a workshop series around dance score cards which was taken to Bromley College, Bedford University and Diverse Dance, as well as used a teacher resource at schools. Bethan has also taught at Highshore School.
Kasia Maslowska – Dancer/Facilitator
Kasia is a freelance dance artist specialising in contemporary/creative dance. She has a MA in Pedagogy from Silesia University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Community Dance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. She currently works in education and community dance spanning all ages. Kasia joined the team in 2011 as part of Levelin’ and as a volunteer at Greenside School. Kasia has been a core member of the Demonstrate team.
Marianne Rouvier-Angeli – Choroegrapher/Facilitator
Marianne trained at the Brooking School Of Ballet and studied contemporary dance at the Laban Centre for Movement and Dance. She has danced professionally both in the UK and abroad, and in 1998 formed Lulu’s Living Room, a dance theatre company that has toured internationally. Marainne joined Corali in 2007 and has been key in developing a sense of choreography and technique in projects.
Jackie Ryan – Volunteer Support
Jackie has gained experience as a volunteer at Bridge School and Centre 404. She has worked as volunteer support on Demonstrate, Pop In and Morley College.
Victoria Thompson – Dancer/Facilitator
Victoria trained at London Contemporary Dance School. She has worked with Dance Umbrella, the Southbank Centre, Blue Elephant Theatre and Islington Arts Factory making dance performances with people of all ages and abilities. She ran her own street theatre company, performing in the UK and abroad and is also a qualified Dance Movement Therapist. Victoria joined Corali in 2010 and has been a key member of the outreach team, including leading the Demonstrate team.
Daniel Weaver – Composer/Collaborator
Daniel trained in Theatre and Visual Art at Nottingham Trent Polytechnic. He has extensive experience as a solo performer and composer for dance and theatre companies, having workrf with Clare Russ, Echo Echo, IOU Theatre Theatre Do, Fabric eV and Wayne McGregor. He has composed works for Corali since 2000 and his continued input is invaluable to the ongoing development of the company, as well as overseeing sound and music.
